Gardeners’ Journal is a low-key journal/blog/information website about all aspects of gardening.    From 48 years of gardening in the same yard, but also extensive reading, researching, collaboration, courses, and fieldwork, there are many learnings, an ongoing cycle of new understandings which will continue to enrich and stimulate us for years to come.

Topics will be eclectic, but rotated to included vegetable gardening, flower gardening,  indoor plants, plant science, native species, landscaping, and maintenance.    New posts will be published weekly throughout the year.   Guest posts are welcome too (contact us).

This website is a companion to another – A Wildflower Journal.    There will be crossovers since wildflowers may also appear in home gardens and in some cases are the same species and variety.   We are also actively using more native plants in the garden.    We collect seed and propagate new plants, an all-year, ongoing process.
